Basement Project: Phase 2

There are still some finishing touches that have to be done, but the basement project that we started last year is almost complete.  Last year we had the construction work done (walls, plumbing, electrical, etc.).  This year we stained the ceiling, put in the vinyl floor and added furniture.  Here are some before, during, and after pics.  https://plus.google.com/photos/107778429244085527843/albums/6010519528382233489

Bringing Blogging Back

Now that I've had my Facebook account deactivated for over a month (yes you can live without Facebook.  I may have to write a post on why I left Facebook, at least for the time being.), I plan to use this blog more as a way to share what's going on with the family.  It kind of feels like I'm traveling back to 2006 when this blog was used much more often.
